• TAPE I: SPECIAL NEEDS OF MINORITY CHILDREN ADOPTED TRANSRACIALLY This tape discusses the minority child's need for: (1) cultural and positive racial identity; (2) surrogate role models; (3) cultural and community interaction; (4) skills and explanations to cope with prejudice and discrimination and; (5) parents with specific skills to address the minority child's needs.

• TAPE 2: THE IMPACT OF TRANSRACIAL ADOPTION ON THE ADOPTED CHILD AND THE ADOPTIVE FAMILY This tape identifies how transracial adoption impacts: (1) the child's interpersonal feelings about themselves, their birth family and community of origin: (2) the child's interaction with the adopted family and adopted community: (3) the nuclear and extended family's reaction to the adopted child, and; (4) how the family can manage the impact of a transracial adoption.

• TAPE 3: PARENTING TASKS IN TRANSRACIAL ADOPTIONS This tape presents; (1) a pyschosocial rationale, explaining the parenting tasks with minority children; (2) parental tasks, resources and capabilities; (3) information and networks parents must access and provide their adopted child.
