Speaches can either:

(1) Provide an overview of the conference's theme, goals, objectives and anticipated outcomes;
(2) Identify questions, problems and issues to be addressed by participants;
(3) Summarize the conference and participants' accomplishments and finding;
(4) Recommend action plans and follow-up activities to participants, as a result of the conference's accomplishments, outcomes and findings.
